The Tic Tac Encounter

On November 14, 2004, Commander David Fravor — then commander of the Black Aces fighter squadron aboard the USS Nimitz — was scrambled to investigate anomalous radar contacts approximately 100 miles off the coast of San Diego. What he found was a white, oblong object approximately 40 feet long, with no visible wings, engines, or exhaust, hovering above a disturbed patch of ocean.

When Fravor manoeuvred to intercept, the object mirrored his movements before accelerating away at a speed he described as instantaneous. Minutes later, the same object — or one identical — appeared 60 miles away at a pre-briefed rendezvous point.

Congressional Testimony

Fravor testified before the House Oversight Subcommittee in July 2023, describing the encounter under oath and stating that the object's performance was beyond anything in the known human inventory. He has been consistent in his account for two decades and has become one of the most prominent voices in the UAP transparency movement. The FLIR1 video of his encounter was officially declassified by the Pentagon in 2020.
