Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina has been one of the most direct congressional voices on the UAP question, publicly stating her belief that what is being reported constitutes evidence of non-human intelligence and calling for full government transparency. She has been willing to make statements in public forums that most colleagues express only in private.

Mace participated in the 2023 House Oversight hearing where David Grusch testified and has continued to press for disclosure through committee work and public statements. Her willingness to use explicit language about non-human intelligence — rather than the more cautious "unidentified phenomena" framing — reflects her view that the evidence no longer supports equivocation.
